Looking for the best daegu hakata pasta? You have absolutely come to the right place! Hello everyone, and welcome back to my Korean travel vlog. Today, my husband and I visited the lively food street right outside the North Gate of Kyungpook National University (KNU).
This university area is famous for its youthful energy and incredible food at affordable prices. Among the many options, this specific restaurant caught our eye with its unique Fukuoka-inspired vibe and delicious fusion menu. If you love spicy seafood and smart tech, let me show you why this is a must-visit spot!

1. The Flavor of Fukuoka in Daegu
What makes daegu hakata pasta so incredibly special is its “Fukuoka-style” approach to Italian cuisine. Finding a place that perfectly blends Japanese elements with classic pasta is rare. I ordered their signature Spicy Tomato Seafood Pasta, and it was an absolute explosion of flavor!
For just 13,900 KRW (approx. $10 USD), I received a generous bowl packed with fresh mussels, shrimp, and squid. The sauce had that signature Korean spicy kick balanced with rich, tangy tomatoes. The chewy noodles perfectly absorbed the fiery sauce, making every bite unforgettable. Getting this gourmet flavor for such a budget-friendly price is exactly why university food streets are the best.
2. Smart Dining: QR Code Ordering

One of the most impressive things about daegu hakata pasta is how easy it is to order. Instead of struggling to communicate or read a Korean-only menu board, you simply scan a QR code at your table with your smartphone.
This is a total game-changer for international travelers! Once you scan the code, you can use your mobile browser’s translation feature to see the entire menu in English or your preferred language. You can browse the options, check ingredients, and place your order directly from your phone. It makes dining completely stress-free!

3. Know Before You Go: Hakata Pasta Operating Hours
Before you visit, it is very important to check their schedule. They have a break time during the weekdays, and they only offer a short lunch service on the weekends. I have organized their exact hours for you below:
- Monday – Friday: 11:10 AM – 9:00 PM
- Break Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Last Order: 8:30 PM

Knowing these times will ensure you do not miss out on their amazing food! You can also find their exact location and save it to your maps right here: Hakata Pasta on Google Maps.
